It doesn't seem right for someone to get an award for giving out the most tickets, especially in an area where the law is changed at the whim of one person.
Isn't it ridiculous that fish and wildlife laws don't have to be initiated or voted on by the legislature but can be doled out willy-nilly by a director at his (or her) discretion? And then to justify those willy-nilly laws they give awards out to the trooper who can find the most people that are disobeying them?
Sounds like a way to make sure your job is there tomorrow, at tax payers expense, but how is it to our gain?
